Novalja is located on the northern part of Pag island and is accessible via the Pag Bridge, which connects the island to the mainland without the need for a ferry. The closest airport is Zadar Airport (ZAD), approximately 55 km from Novalja — a journey of around 45 to 55 minutes by private transfer across the bridge. Split Airport (SPU) is a further option, approximately 130 km to the south, with a travel time of around 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes.
The Pag Bridge connection means travel to Novalja is straightforward by private vehicle, with no ferry times to worry about. Your Go Shuttle driver meets you at the airport arrivals hall, assists with luggage, and delivers you directly to your accommodation in Novalja or anywhere on the northern part of the island including Zrće beach.
During the peak summer months, advance booking is strongly recommended — Novalja is extremely popular in July and August and private transfer availability can fill up quickly.
At Go Shuttle, we operate a fleet of well-maintained, modern vehicles across two main categories:

You can also book via WhatsApp or phone. Book well in advance during summer (June–September) — Novalja is one of the busiest destinations on the Croatian coast during this period.
Zrće beach is located about 3 km from Novalja town centre. While it is reachable on foot, most visitors prefer a quick taxi transfer — particularly when heading out in the evening or returning late at night after events at the beach clubs. Go Shuttle can arrange transfers between Novalja and Zrće at any hour.
Pag island stretches over 60 km and offers far more than Novalja alone. The historic town of Pag, famous for its lace-making tradition and pungent sheep's cheese, is about 25 km to the south. Salt pans, quiet coves, and panoramic viewpoints make the island worth exploring by private transfer, without the expense of hiring a car for your entire stay.
Novalja's nightlife runs until dawn during peak season. Having a reliable taxi arranged in advance means you can enjoy the evening without worrying about how you will get back. Go Shuttle operates 24/7, including overnight transfers from Zrće beach to accommodation in and around Novalja.
Novalja is a town of two distinct personalities. By day, it is a relaxed Adriatic settlement with a pleasant harbour, a Roman underground aqueduct (Talijanova buža) that is unique in Croatia, good restaurants, and clear water beaches. By night — and particularly from June to September — it transforms into one of Europe's most energetic party destinations, centred on Zrće beach and its cluster of world-famous open-air clubs.
Beyond the nightlife, Novalja is surrounded by the dramatic landscape of Pag — bare white limestone hills, salt flats, and the deep blue of the Velebit channel. The island produces some of Croatia's most distinctive food products, including Paški sir (Pag cheese) and Paška janjetina (Pag lamb), both shaped by the unique vegetation that grows on the island's mineral-rich soil.
Whether you are coming for the clubs, the beaches, the food, or simply the scenery, Novalja is a destination that delivers. A reliable private transfer removes the one logistical headache of the journey and lets the holiday begin the moment you land.
